Benefits of Teaching this Lesson
Adequate sleep is important for children because it has impact on their physical health and growth, their emotional well-being and their academic performance. Today we understand that many students are not getting adequate sleep. Research has determined that increasing screen time and caffeine intake are interfering with sleep. This lesson will reveal the impact of these practices on sleep, and help students identify strategies for eliminating them.
