The hospital recently launched a free program--called WHAM (Wellness, Health, Action, Motivation)--that combines physical activity, nutrition education and motivation to teach children how to develop a healthier lifestyle.
As part of the program, participants from across the state age 6-18 also have the chance to workout every week with a trainer and schedule follow-up visits.
