Mary Hawley, MA
Mary Hawley is a literacy specialist with expertise in the Common Core State Standards for English Language Arts & Literacy. Her specialties include English language learners, struggling readers, bilingual education, comprehension, vocabulary, content-area reading, high-interest fiction and nonfiction, phonics and children's literature.
 
Hawley served as Editorial Director at Hampton-Brown and Editorial Director at Pearson Scott Foresman. Hawley advises clients such as Health Teacher, Millmark Education, National Geographic School Publishing and McGraw-Hill Education.
Ann Binstock
Ann Binstock is an experienced health project manager, editor and writer who specializes in creating engaging, creative and inspiring health content. She’s developed projects for many different audiences—from children, parents and teachers to senior citizens and middle-aged disease sufferers. Binstock specializes in editorial product development across multiple platforms and custom health publishing.
 
Binstock supervised custom publishing projects for Health Monitor Network, creating consumer health magazines for distribution in doctors’ offices covering such topics as diabetes, arthritis, osteoporosis, psoriasis, HIV, and eye care. She worked as a magazine editor on custom health projects for Consumer Reports, Cleveland Clinic Magazine, Lupus Now (Lupus Foundation of America), HemAware (National Hemophilia Foundation), DOC News (American Diabetes Association) and WebMD the Magazine. She served as founding editorial director for Health Leaders Inc., a Nashville-based healthcare executive publishing company.
Dawn Graff-Haight, PhD
 Dr. Dawn Graff-Haight is Professor of Health Education at Linfield College in McMinnville, Oregon. She specializes in coordinated school health programs, the National Health Education Standards, and curriculum development.
 
Graff-Haight is President-Elect for the Oregon Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance (OAHPERD), and has twice served as President of the Oregon Association for Health Education. She was appointed by the Oregon Department of Education to its Comprehensive School Health Education advisory committee.
 
Graff-Haight co-authored Science Explorer, Human Biology and Health (Prentice Hall); edited Comprehensive School Health Education: Totally Awesome Teaching Strategies (Teachers’ Edition, Prentice Hall); and was a contributing author to Middle Grades Health Science (Prentice Hall). She was a longtime contributor to Current Health1 magazine.
 
She is a trainer and facilitator with Oregon’s Healthy Kids Learn Better coalition and has given numerous presentations and keynote addresses on health education curriculum and the health issues of adolescents. 3) Graff-Haight was named Oregon College/University Health Educator of the Year in 2009 and 1997. She was the American Association of Health Education National College/University Professor of the Year in 1991.
Jessica Lawrence, MA
 Jessica Lawrence is the former Regional VP of Community and Learning Solutions at Health Teacher.
 
Lawrence began her career as a middle school health teacher in Portland, Oregon. In 2003 she became the Health Education Curriculum Specialist at the Oregon Department of Education. In 2005, she was selected to help revise and develop the National Health Education Standards, which were published early in 2007.
 
Lawrence continues to work as an education consultant, providing targeted, strategic and comprehensive support to school health organizations.
Abby Pecoriello
 Abby Pecoriello is the former Vice President and Editorial Director for Nickelodeon’s ParentsConnect.com and NickJr.com.
 
Pecoriello has worked as an award-winning Writer, Producer and Creative Consultant for clients such as Scholastic, IFC, Disney, Oxygen Media, Nickelodeon and Noggin, Workman Publishing, Sesame Workshop, A&E, Oxygen Media, Sony Pictures Television and Tribune Entertainment.
 
Pecoriello specializes in Web videos, social media, product development, branding, animation, interactive, educational, and promotion.
Emelie Sciarpelletti, MA
 Emelie Sciarpelletti is the former District Coordinator for Health Education, K-12, for Scarsdale Public Schools in Scarsdale, NY.
 
Sciarpelletti specializes in the implementation of health educations programs and curriculum development. She has taught health education in K-5 and Grades 7, 10. She served as the high school Health Education Department Chair.
 
Sciarpelletti has a masters of science in health education and is certified in school district administration.
